Melanie Flores: Owner/Care Giver

My name is Melanie Flores and I love animals of all kinds. After Johnny and I were married, our pet family just kept growing. We soon discovered how difficult is was to go on vacation without worrying about the family we left at home. Were they being fed like they were used to? Did they get their medications? Were they being played with? Were they getting the attention they are used to? Were they lonely? Was the mail brought in? Was the house OK? Did the water in the fish tanks evaporate too much?

Our wonderful family helped us out a lot. What about the times we were on family vacations? Sometimes we had to cut it short. Sometimes we had to cancel. We needed a Pet Sitter; someone reliable; someone to keep everything at our home in order while we were away; someone that would love our pets as much as we do!

January 11, 1999, Luv Your Petz Pet Sitting was established.

Laura has loved all kinds of animals since she was very young. She new she wanted to work with animals in some capacity. It has been a passion of hers all her life. 

She gained her experience in caring for animals while working at AAHA accredited animal hospital as a Kennel Technician for four years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also has three years of experience working for Petco in small animal maintenance, feeding reptiles and helping customers.

She started her own pet sitting and dog walking service while living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She most recently relocated to Peachtree City, Georgia with her husband Steve and their three year old Dachshund, Gabi and their Guinea Pig, Cloud.

Johnny Flores (yes, he's Melanie's husband) has a true love for all kinds of animals.

Hi guys and gals. Well, I love animals! I've been caring for them since the age of 8 years old. I will take care of your pets according to your wishes. My goal is to keep their schedules as close to normal as possible. Doing so will keep them as stress free as possible while they are waiting for your return. I'd love to Luv Your Petz!
